Pre-Care 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please follow our strict Pre-Care Guidelines closely. These have been designed for your safety and to esnure the best results from your treatment. Failure to do so may result in your appointment not being able to go ahead. Please note that your booking fee is non-refundable.

 

We advise you wear your normal makeup on the day of your appointment. This helps us to get a better indication of your style, preferences and expectations.

 

If you have had any recent surgery or a medical condition, we require written consent from your GP before treatment can go ahead.

 

Please note that pigment implantation results may vary depending on your PH balance, skin type, tone, characteristics and condition.

A PATCH TEST MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOUR PROCEDURE. THIS WILL BE POSTED OUT TO YOU PRIOR.

 

90 DAYS PRIOR

Avoid chemical peels, laser or any other deep exfoiliation

2-4 WEEKS PRIOR

Avoid topical preparations/ skin thinners containing AHA'S, VIT A, Glycolic Acids, Retinoids and exfoiliating near the treatment area. 

2-3 WEEKS PRIOR

Avoid any cosmetic procedures (Such as Botox)

2 WEEKS PRIOR

Avoid waxing, threading, plucking, tweezing, tinting and electrolysis
Avoid facials
Avoid tanning and sun beds

7 DAYS PRIOR
Do not take Vitamin E or Fish Oil (blood thinners)

3 DAYS PRIOR
Avoid Aspirin, Ibruprofen and any anti-inflammatory medication (blood thinners)
Consult your GP before discontinuing any medication

24 HOURS PRIOR
Do not drink alcohol

ON THE DAY
Do not work out or drink caffeine

Blood thinners can make you more prone to bruising and bleeding during the procedure, which affects pigment retention.

If there are any changes with your health/ medication (including antibiotics) please inform us as soon as possible.

If the area to be treated shows signs of skin trauma, dryness, blemishes or imperfections 48 hours before, please inform us as treatment may not be able to go ahead. 

We cannot treat anyone under the influence of recreational drugs or alcolohol.

Aftercare

Day

When leaving the clinic and for the first hour, please blot your brows with a clean tissue to remove any excess lymph fluid

One hour after your treatment:

PAT, DRY, BALM

04 - 05

Day

Expect a light peel/ shed from the brow, then it will soften in colour

Please expect itching throughout the healing process

Tips

Do not scratch or pick your tattoo

Do not get any product on your brows for 9 days

Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for 2 weeks

Avoid hot tubs, steam rooms, chlorine pools and the ocean during your healing

02 - 07

Day

Balm only in the morning and at night

When applying balm, please apply a very thin and even coverage

When Showering, if you get your brows wet, please blot dry straight after with a clean tissue

Sessions

Please note that all brows are done in two sessions: first initial appointment and then maintenance is normally done in one session to maintain the look
