ACADEMY - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

On our website, each course's content is displayed heavily with the protocol and breakdown. Please do enquire about the course you like. If you are unsure, please get in touch and we shall arrange a call with Zara herself to discuss which course would be better suited for you.

We have two types of courses:

Access to PMU - Allows you to gain the knowledge and skill sets to set up in the industry and enrol onto our master courses

Master Courses - Enables trained artists and ATPMU qualified students to expand their portfolio in specialised techniques.

If you are a beginner entering the industry you will need to enrol onto ATPMU and complete this theory course before progressing onto any of our technique focused courses. We've broken down the steps of learning to make it easier for our students to succeed! Once you have passed your ATPMU theory course you can start to build your portfolio prepped with the best up to date theoretical knowledge. If you are already certified you can complete any of our masterclasses but are more than welcome to sit ATPMU to scratch up on your theory! From what we see, it's often poor theory knowledge that hinders progression rather than practical ability.

BEGINNERS COURSE

We send out a 40 hour home pre-study to begin with. You will then attend our training academy for 1 day to master all theory broken down in power lessons and workshops. On the same day you will sit your theory assessment, where upon you will gain your Certificate of Attendance & Completion.

MASTER COURSES for beginners

Upon completion of ATPMU you will sit a 1/2 day course depending on the technique. You will then complete homework on latex (with support from your trainer) before coming back for your practical assessment day where you will transfer your practice on latex onto the skin on your live model.

MASTER COURSES for certified artists

These are held for one day only. The White House Clinic Training Academy will deliver their technique and skill set to the already trained artist. A live demonstration will be shown and a Certificate of Completion will be awarded.

Not only do we use our experience of the semi-permanent industry but also detailed insight from years of experience in the hair loss industry - Zara understands hair growth and loss at a clinical level.

The White House Clinic Training Academy is a certified training academy that has been running for four years in total.

Zara is a fully qualified and certified teacher in semi-permanent makeup.

The training venue is in the centre of Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. The training academy is held in a classroom, along with practical assessments carried out in the same building.

A master course is designed for a trained semi-permanent makeup artist to attend a day's course with another semi-permanent makeup artist to improve or gain other skill sets to add to their portfolio.

As a beginner we recommend to practise for at least 6- 12 months in the areas you have already been trained. Once you have mastered this, we would recommend only then to take on other courses, which will enable you to build up your portfolio.

Zara is extremely passionate about her standards of work and equally her standards of training. She aims to deliver and pass over all the comprehensive knowledge she has gained over the years, enabling students to feel confident and to set up or improve their skill set at a high level.

Zara is also incredibly passionate about teaching. Her down to earth, friendly and apporachable nature coupled with her meticulous eye for detail, multi-award-wins and first-class industry know-how make her one of the best teachers to learn from in the industry.

All permanent makeup is an art form. Once vou

know the basics, we want you to be your own artist

and find vour own flare. We will teach you all you

need to know on theory and practical tips

providing pattern breakdowns and techniques but

we want vou to flourish as an artist and find your

own flare to bring to the industry! Put your own

spin on your style from day 1 by learning to

freestyle our V Style. Don't be afraid of using

different needles and techniques and combining

them all together.

There is no room for copy and paste in this

industry, we are working on the face and no two

people have the same facial structure, anatomy,

hair flow or hair pattern. Because of this, you won't

tattoo the same way on any client. This can be

something newly certified artists struggle to come

to terms with and by default they place the specific

pattern/technique they have practised over and

over on latex straight onto their client's skin.

Everything with art should feel natural, whether

you're painting, drawing or tattooing. If it feels

natural your results will look natural. It's time to

train your eye to know where needs the freestyle to

create balance in your work and put your own

spin on your style.
