Before treatment Guidelines

Prior to your treatment think about the look you wish to achieve, as experts we will ensure the colour and design are correct and right for you however you are part of the decision making process.

Semi-permanent enhancements require two sessions; to achieve the best results you will be required to return 4-6 weeks later from your initial application, this two session are booked in together when your deposit is paid PLEASE NOTE; be aware it very hard to move appointments once booked due to high demand and all appointments are slotted in to fit perfect for your healing stage.

Prepare yourself for the colour to instantly be sharper and darker immediately after the first application. This will soften as the skin heels- this process can take up to nine days.

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, Aspirin or Ibuprofen for 24 hours before the procedure.

Because Botox can alter the position of your brows, it should be performed no later than at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment but can be done post treatment too.

Discontinue Vitamin A/Retinol products two weeks prior to treatment.

Discontinue Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior to treatment.

Thoroughly read all the forms given to you at the time of your appointment and ask any questions you may have, this cover all terms and conditions.

Be sure to advise me of any allergies, medical conditions, prior permanent eyebrow make-up and prescriptions you take prior to your appointment, including being pregnant or have become pregnant between your two sessions. Its important you tell us and oh course all is confidential.

Any hair maintence or removal can be carried out on the day of the procedure if you find it hard to create the shape, we only pluck or gently shave the hairs away or you can go and get them waxed, threaded or plucked into shape. This needs to be at least 24 hours before.

Please plan your route, be prepared for traffic or train times or delays, we don't like to rush your appointment so we need ladies to turn up on time failing to do this we can cancel the appointment.

Post treatment Guidelines

The area may appear red and swollen for most its unlikely but if your skin is sensitive, the colour will look dark this is completely normal- additional work cannot be carried out until the area has complelty healed. We will then send you away with a nine day after care programme to follow strictly this will help your healing and see a reduction in pigment loss and flaking- the aftercare plays up to your finishing result.

In order for your eyebrows to heal correctly there will be certain things you will need to avoid for nine days such as swimming, saunas, excess sweating etc, this is all explained and listed for you to take away with your aftercare pack.

Aftercare is fully explained at the end of the session then we go through the aftercare sheet and pack, so if you have any questions or concerns you can ask. We are very clear on the aftercare as it plays such a large role in your result.. in fact up to 50% so we make sure you leave confident with it.

Once your eyebrows are completely healed- we advise you to use a sunblock SPF stick to prevent uv fading your pigment down when going out into sunlight this includes even summer in the UK and whilst on your holiday, we do sell them within the clinic or you can buy from chemists, boots etc.

It is important to not pick or scratch your eyebrows whilst heeling this can result in scaring and needs to be avoided- you may experience itching during your healing which is completely normal but we explain what to do to avoid this.

The nine day after care needs to be applied after both sessions in order to get the best final result, and both are just as important.
